During my two years as the creative director at W3Ride, I was in charge of the entire brand design, communication and app interface. This is an extract of my time there.

The bike bell quickly became a meme in the W3Ride community. This is why we decided to create this item and gift it to our users in-app. This would later give them a bonus on their rides if they hold it in their inventory.

The golden ticket

The latest version of the app included a lottery system, to let users exchange their well earned in-app currency against lottery tickets and maybe win one of the rewards IRL.

Inventory items

In the vision we had for the app, user would be able to unlock items after a race and gamify their ride experience. Bonuses on their speed, ride lenght or keeping the bike health bar to the max.
